We have had a great week being scientists. On Thursday Room 7 and Room 9 conducted some experiments with water. We had to cooperate and make predictions. Would water freeze if we added milk, sugar, salt and jelly crystals to it? We added one teaspoon of these to one tablespoon of water and put it in the freezer. The next day we observed the changes that had occurred. We observed that 3 of the 4 had turned from liquid to solid, but the salt water stayed as a liquid. This actually surprised us.
