Gosh, we have had a very busy start back to our last term in Room 7. On Thursday we started our first swimming lesson. We bused to the pool and had a fantastic time. We go with Room 3 and some children from Room 4.
Poor old Abby had to sit and watch us swim because of her broken collar bone but hopefully in another couple of weeks she will be allowed in the pool.
This term we are becoming scientists and we are going to be conducting experiments with water. Room 9 and Room 7 got together to see what links they could make between lots of scientific words Mrs Dobson and Mrs Jackson gave us that related to water. We were able to use the string and make some links but not a lot. By the end of this term we think we will have learnt a lot and be able to show you many more links than we made this week.
On Friday we went to Science Alive and had great fun learning all about water. We tried predicting and observing, and then we did some experiments with water.
