Last Friday we got to make rocket balloons. After reading a really cool book called "Traction man" by Mini Grey we used the following materials to make a rocket:
Materials
• balloons
• straws
• string
• tape
• peg or paperclip
• Traction Man template
As the balloon deflated, it pushed out the air inside it. The air pushed the balloon along the string in the opposite direction. Scientists describe this with a rule –every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
