Our Sandpit Model

A couple of weeks ago we wrote to Mr O'Reilly to try and persuade him to build us a bigger and better sandpit. Mr O'Reilly wrote back and asked us to make some plans and do some research. During the week we located examples of other sandpits on the Internet. We also asked the other classrooms what improvements they would like to see happen to out old sandpit and tried to find out how many children actually used the sandpit. We then drew plans. Mrs Dobson decided we could all contribute ideas and build a scale model to show Mr O'Reilly. There was amazing team work (partnership) used by everyone to make our model. We are extremely proud of our effort and we think it looks awesome. We can't wait for Mr O'Reilly to come next week and see what we created
